And would consider a motor home in partexchange. It is already one of the cheapest 36’ Hatteras availableanywhere in the world! Sellingdue to serious recent health diagnosis and living in the UK-I hopethis explains my situation. Anything more you want to know about theboat please call me, I am happy to answer questions. You can view theboat anytime. The Marina are more than happy to help me with this aswell. And I will be there if you want to take her out from the 16thto the 20th of October. I may be able to extend that by aday or so if necessary. NOTALL HATTERAS ARE CREATED EQUAL!Look at the rest.And then look at the best equipped 36C Hatteras out there! This isthe Series I Convertible (1969-1977). Built like a tank and farsuperior to the later Series II (1983-1987).They don’t allcome with things like:Bowsprit Bow RailSwim PlatformFull Enclosure toFly BridgeLower helm station(not on this one either)Cockpit transom doorSwim PlatformBait stationRod Holder Pedestalfor CockpitMarlin Tower ( theonly boat currently listed with one!)Boat Leveller TrimtabsThis is the muchsought after galley up version. This boat wouldmake a great live aboard. I say that because, that is why I bought itfor, a change of plans and health have forced the current sale. Assuch, I was unable to achieve this and so it has never been used as alive aboard! Plenty of room and 2 staterooms. She is economical torun (yes I said that, it’s actually in the mile and under pergallon. And not the gallons per mile!). And plenty of power if andwhen needed. From the twin 3208 Caterpillars. Each beingturbo-charged with inter-cooler giving 375hp each! Very low hours(under 100). She will do everything her big brothers do. Without theneed for crew. And a lot cheaper for berthing. Boats are measureddifferently now. She is 36 for marina purposes. But when next to anewer boat she would be classed as a 40 footer. With the bow spritand swim platform. So 36 for Marinas and a 40 footer for friends andfamily!The boat has beenwell maintained and refurbished during my ownership. The partsreplaced have hardly been used. And although some may be severalyears old. They are like new. Of course being a boat a lot of this isroutine. When I bought it, it had new batteries. I replaced themabout 4 years ago. And they will need replacing again! If I fit newbatteries there is no warranty. If you get them fitted. You get awarranty. The Generator (Westerbeke 8BTD) was also removed. There isa remanufactured one on ebay for $7,900. And plenty of used ones. Imade the decision not to replace. It’s not just the expense. It’sthe warranty, you buy and you get a warranty. If you need one? Shorepower works fine. And if under way, how much time will you spendbelow decks?The A/C also needslooking at. Again my reason for not replacing is the warranty.
